ABOUT THE HOST

Mandated by the former Tourism and Industrial Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (TIDCO), The Trinidad and Tobago Tour Guides’ Association (TTTGA) was established in October 1997.  The Association under Trade Union regulations has the vision of standardising the service of our local Tour Guides as well as the information being disseminated, thereby increasing their professionalism and, by extension, uplifting the nation’s tourism product.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

A tour of the city of POS, the Queens Park Savannah and a view of the Magnificent 7, a group of 7 mansions built between1092-1910 featuring various European architectural style.  We then travel up to the Lady Young Road look-out for a view of POS from the East before heading up to historical Fort George which was built in 1804 as part of the complex fortifications under the British. Here we can see the coast of Venezuela on a clear day, the islands that dot the Gulf of Paria and a view of POS from the West. Finally we head across the Northern Range to the picturesque Maracas Bay for a swim and to experience our famous ‘Bake n’ Shark’ with all the trimmings.
