ABOUT THE HOST

Mandated by the former Tourism and Industrial Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (TIDCO), The Trinidad and Tobago Tour Guides’ Association (TTTGA) was established in October 1997.  The Association under Trade Union regulations has the vision of standardising the service of our local Tour Guides as well as the information being disseminated, thereby increasing their professionalism and, by extension, uplifting the nation’s tourism product.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

A city tour of Port-of-Spain, the Queen’s Park Savannah and the Magnificent, a group of 7 mansions built between1092-1910 featuring various European architectural styles. Leaving POS we travel through the city of St James and up to Fort George. This fort was built in 1804 as part of the complex fortifications under the British. From there you can see the coast of Venezuela a mere 12 miles away and the many islands that dot the Gulf of Paria. Finally we head over the Northern Range to the beautiful Maracas Bay for swimming and relaxation and where you can sample our famous delicacy, Bake & Shark.
